The Cleveland Browns Have fired Hue Jackson per multiple reports. ESPN first hinted at the news late Sunday but have officially reported that Hue Jackson has indeed been fired.

The Browns decided to stick with Jackson after a 1-15 season and then through a 0-16 season. It has cost the Browns an opportunity to be in the playoffs this year and it has cost Hue Jackson his job this season.

The Browns went to overtime 4 times this season only coming away with only one win.

Many questioned the return of Jackson but now the third year coach has been let go. Many speculated that Todd Haley or Gregg Williams would take over as the interim head coach but after many believing Al Saunders had been named interim head coach, Gregg Williams has been named the interim HC according to Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen.

Freddie Kitchens will serve as the Browns’ new offensive coordinator.

Todd Haley has also been fired after the offense failed to live up to expectations.

Jackson finishes his time with the Browns with a 3-36-1 record.

Romeo Crennel, Eric Mangini, Pat Shurmur, Rob Chudzinski, Mike Pettine and now Hue Jackson were all fired after losses to Pittsburgh.
